### water jug problem

Suppose there are two jugs of capacity of 5 Liters and 3 Liters without any capacity scale on them, and endless supply of water. Then :

#### Measure 4 liters of water

Step 1 Fill 3 Liters of jug Step 2 Pour all water in 5 Liters of jug (now this 5 liters jug has 3 liters of water, and 2 liters empty) Step 3 Fill 3 Liters of jug again Step 4 Again Pour water from this jug (3 Liter) to 5 Liters jug (which is 2 liters empty) Step 5 Now in 3 Liters jug only 1 Liter of water is remained because other 2 Liters are poured in 5 Liters jug (3 filled and 2 again poured). Step 6 Now 5 Liters jug is fully filled and 3 Liters have only 1 Liter of water. Step 7 Drop all water from 5 Liters jug, Now the 5 Liters jug is empty and 3 Liters has 1 Liter of water Step 8 Pour 1 Liter of 3 Liter jug to 5 Liters jug. (now 3 liters jug is empty and 5 Liters jug has 1 Liter of water) Step 9 Again Fill 3 Liters of jug full Step 10 Pour all water from 3 Liters jug to 5 Liters jug, which already have 1 liter of water. (now 3 liters jug is empty and 5 Liters jug has 4 Liters of water)
